Description
Aluminum ferrule for cylindrical shafts, especially popular among bamboo pole manufacturers. Snap-Fix System.
It is compatible also with threaded baskets.
The deepest part of the ferrule's upper opening is equipped with internal threads (M16x1). These threads impress their way up the bamboo during the installation process performed by winding the ferrule onto the pole (see photo No. 2).
Lower part of the ferrule is shaped hexagonally which allows tight and secure installation using hex wrench 13 (see photo No. 3).
Purpose of use: skiing, touring, hiking and trekking poles
