SKI POLE BASKETS

Ski pole baskets

High quality ski pole baskets

Choose ski pole baskets made of top-quality material, which is resistant to low and high temperatures.

  • Even at - 30°C, our baskets for ski poles do not crack, and are still flexible.
  • On the other hand, they remain firm up to 35°C  (important for summer baskets, such as trekking pole baskets).

What differs our baskets for ski poles from low-budget baskets is our top-quality material. Most producers use LD-PE (low density polyethylene) that is not resistant to cold temperatures. Baskets for ski poles made from LD-PE tend to crack quickly at sub-zero temperatures.

Invest in quality!

Ski pole baskets in colours? Our pleasure!

Our ski pole baskets are generally in stock in black colour (unless the offer below shows differently), but we're happy to produce them by request in any other colour (MOQ is 500 pcs.).

Some models are already made in colours - please contact us to check the stock for your wished colour!

Mounting options of pole baskets

We offer two different types of mounting of ski pole baskets:

  • N = snap-fix basket (without thread)
  • G = screw on basket (with thread)

"N" version ski pole basket is permanently attached to ferrule, basket fastening nipple or pole, "G" version is detachable from ferrule/pole - you can unwind it from the tip or basket fastening nipple.

All our baskets for ski poles are available as "N" version (except basket FK1013/G, which is available only as "G" version), while "G" version is available on certain baskets (please see N/G marking at the name of the basket).

Ski pole baskets for kids

Kids love to have their ski accessories coloured and in shapes of different kinds of animals. We managed to create unique forms of lovely ski pole baskets for kids:

• butterfly (in neon yellow)
• ladybird (in red and in blue)

How to remove a ski pole basket?

Ski pole baskets with Snap-fix system (Snap-on baskets) need to be removed with the help of a few tools.

First the existing basket has to be warmed up with a hot air gun (temperature up to 50 °C) or with a hair dryer. Warmth gives the basket better flexibility and ensures easier removal. Warm ski pole basket can in some cases be removed by pulling it off the ski pole tip or basket adapter by hand only, but more often it has to be cut with a Stanley knife towards its center hole prior to pulling it off.

How to replace ski pole baskets?

After removing ski pole basket from the ferrule or ski pole shaft, the new one can be attached.

Snap-fix (Snap-on) baskets are simply pushed onto the ferrule or ski pole adapter until they snap into the upper narrow section of the ferrule or adapter. It requires a bit more tooling than the threaded basket, but it's still very easy.

What size of ski pole baskets should I get?

Basket size will change depending on the type of skiing and length of the ferrule.
For freestyle skiing, powder snow skiing and freeride you will need larger baskets and for race skiing smaller baskets.

Longer pole tips require bigger baskets compared to shorter ferrules which are combined with baskets with smaller outer diameters.
