Ferrule for cylindric shafts, short, with tungsten carbide tip.
Snap-fix system.
Tungsten carbide (WC) is a chemical compound containing powder forms of tungsten carbide and cobalt which are during a specific sintering process fused together into a dense "hard metal".
Tungsten carbide (widia) is stiffer than steel, so the tip of this ferrule is extremely durable.
Purpose of use: hiking and trekking poles
