Tungsten carbide (WC) also known as widia is a chemical compound containing powder forms of tungsten carbide and cobalt which are during a specific sintering process fused together into a dense "hard metal".
Tungsten carbide is much stiffer than steel, so this XC tip is extremely durable.

To find the right ferrule diameter for your pole please follow the instructions for measuring the diameter of the pole.
For mounting the ferrules on pole ends our hot melt glue sticks can be used.
